If you think positively every day, work hard, strive to be the best version of yourself, surround yourself with inspiring people, and never give up, there is absolutely no limit to how hard you can burn out.
I'm absolutely starving for retro horror like this! I recently played it and thought it was FANTASTIC for '87, but it made some awful progression decisions that make it too much of a slog to widely recommend (without a walkthrough) still intend to drag myself through the second at some point
me: why is my mouse going crazy all of the sudden *looks over to see the cat licking the touchpad on the PS5 controller* me: ah ...
I used to absolutely adore and eat up every JRPG I could get my hands on as a kid; the Tales Of series defined a lot of my tastes. but something about them all felt like they slowly got away from me playing this feels like a good return to those fantasy RPGs I enjoyed as a kid, hard to place
so far some of the themes and mechanics tread almost TOO close to Persona giving it a very spinoff feel, but again, they're good games. ain't nothing wrong with that, perhaps it'll get better in time as the story unfolds and becomes more engaging, but even if not, just dandy
initial impressions of Metaphor are very positive: it's fantasy Persona and that's not a bad thing the game feel is as crisp and impeccable as always. just the sound and responsiveness of navigating the game world and menus is a delight, baffling why more games don't focus this hard on interface
checking out the new Final Fantasy game. I hadn't been paying attention AT ALL, didn't know this was a thing
if Steam ever goes down or stops providing those things, I'll instantly go back to pirating but for right now, it's honestly nice to have a one-click install in a centralized location where I know the thing I download didn't have a trojan and if you can't afford that comfort ... piracy is always 👍
