I have seldom enjoyed either the MOBA or competitive experience as much as I did with Heroes of the Storm. Every character designed uniquely and VERY well-balanced, games never took very long, and was perfectly designed to allow for comebacks (while also being extremely intuitive). SO much love.

Okay yes it's the Meme Leftist Game for some but this was the one-two emotional face punch in the same year Outer Wilds released. The saddest and most wondrous buddy cop story, all while allowing itself to have the rare moments of heartfelt emotion where it matters most.
