Tired of seeing that ecology paper where 246 researchers got “widely varied results” with dramatic reactions. Like yes, they was wide variation but MOST got the same result?? Like we know science isn’t impartial and based on consensus, this is not shocking
Ordination Q: The numbers on an NMDS axis have no meaning in relation to original variables. But are they relevant between the two axes? If Axis 1 goes from -2 -> 2, while Axis 2 goes from -0.5 -> 0.5, should Axis 2 have the same scale as Axis 1? Should you have a “skinny plot?”
