Ahead of the election, many of us said Labour and Tories were largely indistinguishable. Delighted to get rid of Sunak’s shower of right wing loons, but apprehensive about Starmer’s Labour which is miles right of where Lab should be. Depressingly we were correct. They are only marginally better.
Also not showing much sign of being more competent, which was the only other real component of their potential to be better, apart from replacing corruption with probity which they clearly haven't. Not sure they will be better at all, until they face opposition within their parliamentary MP group.
We need more #Allotments right now, in place, ready for now and for our future generations. We buy land for new allotment sites, because we know that they are needed not just for the 1000s of people on allotment waiting lists, but for the people who are to come, who will also want to grow their own
