The problem is that Musk has fired thousands of moderators, spreads lies and fake news himself, and promotes far-right and fascistoid hate accounts. Moreover, rogue states like Iran and Saudi Arabia are allowed to search for political opponents on X, so that they are locked up. The EU must act now.

As someone living in the EU I resent the idea that they can dictate what I am (not) allowed to read/see. Not to mention that VPNs exist, so what even is the point? I blocked MuskRat and 100s of rightwing lunatics, and will continue to do so. But the EU has NO business telling me what I can read!
