I like it when people share their interests, the things that autistic people are so passionate about, to the point you can see their face light up. Even when I’m not really interested in your interest, I’d much rather listen to someone info dump about their interest than make small talk.

Thank you & yes, when people light up talking about something they are passionate about, it is everything. And I can continue in the convo instead of mentally dropping out.

Same here. It’s a love language to give someone space to talk about their interests.
