It could even be something as mundane as not liking the taste. Not everyone like alcoholic drinks. Either way it's their right to choose not to drink alcohol.
Yes! Some people just don't drink because they don't like it. My husband's entire side of his family rarely drinks because of that. They don't have it at parties. It's not a thing to them, which suits me just fine because I fit a few of those categories I mentioned.
