Oh I appreciate it, but deer are so common and I have a million photos of them already, it’s just more exciting when it’s something more rare!

This bird has been a regular at my house, constantly stalking my feeders 😑 can’t blame him for wanting an easy meal. I knew one day I’d catch him with a kill. I think he caught this one at the neighbor’s house, though, and was just looking for a dry place to eat

My old man Phantom has lived for a couple years now with kidney disease and we took him off the kidney food as well - he’s a fairly hefty cat and the vet said for him that’s a great thing!He also loves to drink water so I think that combo is keeping his levels steady. He’s 16 and doing great.

Some people here have the ones that look like bird houses on their trees or whatever so I can hear the motors moving as I walk by

I’m still new to birding and haven’t even found a kestrel yet, but manage to find a migrating Merlin 😝

I might set up a tumblr and start there then branch out/cross post elsewhere as I get going
