I wonder what it would be like to go back in time and somehow influence the design of a character, then jump back to the present and see what changes Obviously, fanart of the character would change, but could something as small as an aspect of a character's design affect how history plays out? 🤔

Like, if Metroid was developed for later hardware and they didn't give her armor bigger shoulders to make the Varia Suit stand out on the Gameboy, her design would be less distinct, then maybe Metroid as a whole would be a bit less popular, making Nintendo less motivated to make new Metroid games
