The only alternative to incremental change is violent and deadly for the most vulnerable people; there's no magic "revolution" that can change that. Elect the lesser evil, push them towards progress, and seek out better candidates for the next election--lather, rinse, repeat.

Incremental change is what got the GOP to where they can have an incoherent bag of toxic garbage spewing violent racist bile at rallies, and have the press sanitize his eugenics into "an interest in genetics". They've been working at this since the 1960s party switch, with bloody single-mindedness.
