Games that DLCs are a fantastic addition: Oxygen not included, Battle Brothers, Rimworld and the Last spell imo. As for games that feel incomplete without DLC, im sure everyone has smth in mind lol. Also special shoutout to Stardew and Celeste for making free DLCs lol
outer wilds has a great dlc!!! i havent beaten it yet myself but but from what i have played it is definitely worth it (the dlc i mean, ive beaten base game)

Many to count that feel incomplete, but Final Fantasy XIII-2 dlc on ps3 still haunt me to this day.
Relink i think its a good example. Everything you get there is free and youll have a great time. (The dlcs are extra stuff just as dances, emotes, and get the newest 3 chars(although you can farm them to get for free)) If a game needs a mhw iceborne expansion. Is this game. So good.
Shoutout to Bioware for making DLCs mandatory if you want to have any effing idea what's going on in the sequel. Lookin at you, Mass Effect 3.
