I don't know how to recommend this comic properly, especially given the wide spread of content warnings for its material (CWs that, to be clear, are lovingly posted at the start of every chapter by the author/artist). But fuck. If you like your stories messy and complicated, this is the stuff.
What Happens Next is a series of terrible car accidents unraveling in slow motion. It is a story with no real designated protagonists, but rather it is an ant farm of deeply flawed, fucked-up human beings making awful decisions that are simultaneously wildly understandable.
