If Haley voters have no demands, why has Harris not already won them? I do agree that Harris risks more voters than she gains if she flips her position on Palestine/Lebanon. But I suspect that's due to the news coverage she'll get. But Haley voters come with their own price tag, too.

If you want to know why Harris is lagging, it's the Dems' foot dragging for fear of upsetting too many conservatives in their own party. "Trump is worse" might get you Dick Cheney's vote. But it's not enough to restore faith in the Dems as a party.
