“Not everyone who smokes cigarettes develops lung cancer, and not everyone who has lung cancer smoked cigarettes,” said Dr. Deepak Cyril D’Souza... “But we now know, after denying it [for] decades, that the association between the two is very important. The same is true for cannabis and psychosis.”

It seems that as a society we have become less critical thinkers, less able to evaluate data, more willing to think every issue has two sides, and finally view science with extreme skepticism. That last one is a tad ironic given the mission of science.
