"Name's Kei." She tilted her head slightly upon seeing her wings. "You're a full-blown demon, are ya?"
She looked unphased by the act she had just witnessed. "What's your name?"
She gave a sigh. "I'll be back." A couple minutes later, she, indeed, came back and set a two liter bottle of the drink in question next to the green being. "Think that'll keep ya goin."
She gently nudged the body with her foot. "Blink twice if you can hear me."
I'm going to speed this up. Nuclear energy is a viable option, but the amount of energy needed to set everything up, get the power out to the plants, and somehow keep them hydrated (H20 is needed for photosynthesis), would far outweigh the effort. The sun's done all that for eons without effort
Where's your power coming from?
"Oh hey, it's a bitch without a muzzle."
No sun, no photosynthesis. The amount of energy needed to keep the algae in the ocean (main source of O2 output) going is insane. Plus, no evaporation, so no rain; the one thing that's keeping the top soil fertile, which is the backbone of ecosystems. No ecosystems; we all die.
No sun, and we all die several times over.
"I dropped something." She grabbed the balisong that sat just under her, looking like it flew out of Kei's hands. She sniffed the air for a second. "You need to shower or something. Ain't no one want to be near that stank."
