As of July 1st, in the state of Washington, it will be illegal to remove your chastity cage without your keyholder's consent. I'm not kidding. lawfilesext.leg.wa.gov/biennium/202...
I am interested to how this will be litigated. Like how is "sexually protective device" defined. This bill doesn't have an internal definition. This also has a chance to create bad precedents as well as good ones. Chastity belts specifically are sometimes used in abusive scenarios.
May I screenshot this and share to other platforms? I can write My own post if not, but I think you said it perfectly, and I dont just want to swipe your post/content without your permission!
wait what?wait what?
I need to unlock by June 30th then as I live there 😩
Ooh! This sounds like it's about people who removes condoms/diaphragms etc without telling their partner first! If I'm reading it right, it's supposed to help prevent people from getting trapped with someone via on-purpose unwanted pregnancy. Neat!
I mean, from what I can tell, this law explicitly refers to "sexual contact or sexual penetration." Technically, a chastity cage could fit the law's definition, but it would have to involve taking the cage off during sexual contact and then continuing to engage in sexual contact without consent.
Finally some good news
@badgerinasuit.taxbadger.com It seems like it's technically supposed to be focused on condoms, but for the life of me I can't imagine why they put 5 GRAND as the base fine lmao
Only if the cage was to prevent pregnancy or STIs 😞
