"Ahmed Al-Khout is a 30 year old Software engineering graduate with his own design and gift shop. He is also happily engaged and had his whole life ahead of him until the genocide took it all away. But, it didn't take away his dreams and resilience. His gift shop is destroyed but not his determination to build it all up from scratch again. His gift shop is destroyed but he has given his community the gift of his solidarity the last ten months to ease the pain of the genocide. He has worked day and night, putting his own life at risk for the past months, to help his people. Giving it back to him with the donations to rebuild his gift shop is the least we could do as we cheer him on in his endeavors.
