the uzumaki animation is so fuckin cool. my only complaint is that i could not gorge on it all at once like i have done with the comic so many times. having the stories running concurrently with that music ratcheting up the whole time worked fuckin great

so many elements and scenes animated at different frame rates, they managed to invoke the actual ebb and flow of frenetic energy you feel as you read the print, but somewhat inversely to the rate you turn the pages. the visual pacing itself is so unsettling
