You're not wrong! I think ultimately the art must lead, but I'm wondering if we just don't know the best way to work within this artform yet. I'm less concerned with public opinion and more with the trend. If 75% of people never finish, maybe that's a sign something needs to change.

It's definitely a worthy question though. We certainly haven't figured out "the best" way to do it. If there even is one 😁

Indeed. That's such a BIG question though 😵‍💫 In theory making the middle of a game more engaging would suggest higher retention rates to the end. Or maybe shorter attachment and dropping off part way is simply a societal trend in general beyond gaming at all🤔 I wish you luck. It's a tall mountain.
