I've seen people say that following the Seven Tenets is all there is to Satanism. That's as wild as saying the Ten Commandments are everything to know about Christianity. The Tenets do not define modern Satanism; rather they are a set of conclusions reached from an understanding of Satanism.

Humanity's exploration of Satan as savior of mankind demonstrates the ideals of freedom from tyrannical oppression, personal autonomy, the struggle for justice, the value of truth, and respect for the free will of others. The Tenets summarize these lessons, but are not the source of them.
