honest question for all djinnologists (djinnomers?) out there: aren't all djnns evil?

It depends on when your stories of djinns are from. Originally it just means spirit IIRC. And could be anything from Angra Mainyu, the Persian equivalent of the root of all evil, or basically a Greek Daemon depending on the folk tale.
