There's something magical about having a park that is heavily used by a diverse group of folks nearby. Folks sunbathing, kids playing, friends gathering on a picnic blanket...it's like the vibes of a good coffee shop, only free to use and with far more grass / space / people.
A lot of the ones I've been around before felt so under utilized. Sure, we'd use them for events or as a place to play when I was a kid, but they weren't places adults went to spend time. The way people could access them and the limited group who used them (primarily folks with kids) were limited.
