Reposting because grammar mistakes 💀 There's tags, key words, and alt-text stuff that Bluesky pushes that I don't know, but I know that for example my post yesterday got me new followers because "sex toy" and "Hatsune Miku" are words that get recommended to other people posting about those topics!

Bluesky doesn't punish you for using hashtags and links so using them would theoretically do no harm to your posts here, BUT supposedly the search function and algorithm that DOES exist here looks for "key words" rather than hashtags! So it'll try to link common interests together that way
