He said in Surprised by Joy that "The Everlasting Man" is what made the Christian story make sense to him for the first time, so I've been reading that. It does seem CSL took a LOT of influence from it so far.

I also will say that The Great Divorce was the only time that Hell has ever made any sense to me as an idea. However, it did require basically infinite chances at forgiveness AFTER death, which is definitely not how thinks seem in standard Christian thought
