2010 to 2024 is quite enough time in office, I'd say. And yet they seem able to look past the terrible state in which they left the country and still bleat that it was they who were done down. Bewildering.

“You may think Blair and Brown were defeated in 2010, but the truth is the left never left – it’s time to make a change.” - has the whiff of wanting total control for far longer than an electoral mandate.

And just to qualify, in no way am I a fan of that party, but there is a need for sensible political opposition. Is she like those shock jocks who wears this persona and takes it off when she gets home? And why does the party lap up this rubbish?

I'm really puzzled by Badenoch. On paper she comes across as a well educated and personally motivated person who has had real world experience through a series of real jobs. The kind of person with whom, although you may disagree, could have a sensible discussion. Why these culture war style lies?
