Isn't this the refrain of all NIMBYs. "I'm not opposed to X in theory, I'm just opposed to this specific X" You add up all those specific Xs and you get opposition to X in general even if they won't say it.

Okay - if we accept that statements don't matter here, then it is definitely on your shoulders to present a systemic and widespread effort by environmental groups to oppose *at least* a majority of clean power projects if not *most clean power projects* across various countries.
