Age is funny. My 20's was entirely chasing after my dream job, certain that it was what I HAD to do, and was absolutely crushed again and again when I never landed an opportunity. Now in my 30's I'm reverting all the way back to "what do I wanna even do with my life?"

It's strange to do a complete 180 from "THIS is my plan! I HAVE to follow it" to actually just living in the moment. I started to realize the chase of the dream job was not worth breaking my own spirit for. Trying to learn to roll with the punches.

Ah, that's exactly how it went for me after I got the boot out of college. It was THE thing, right? But now that idea feels so wrong which was an existential crisis all it's own. Happier in my 30s just living and doing stuff now.
