While I agree things do need to be discussed and pointed out (in the right ways and places) to not let this kind of thing feaster in a fandom, furries are far from clear of it though more proactive in some cases. Sadly these elements will always try to take root.
This is furry history and what we should support, remember, and celebrate. We are supposed to be open inclusive, supportive, and understanding.
Young furs, bad actors will try and tell you furry was "recently taken over" by "minorities" but that's BS. The 1st con was started by a same-sex couple. The 1st fursona was created by a black guy. The 1st famous Fursuiter was a female character played by a man. Furry not a CisHet white guy thing.

An absolute disgrace that this was used for them. It shows they weren't fans of the series, or if they were they didn't learn anything like most that let Sci fi fly over their heads.
