Didn't find any that big in my database of beavers and streams in the Ancient Lake Lahontan watershed...

Having done my work on the Ancient Lake Lahontan watershed, I recently was observing streams in the major fire areas of eastern California, and the recovery of riparian areas in the blackened areas was very obvious, especially on creeks that did show beaver activity.

BDAs and Zeedyk rock structures are important for restoring function in rivers and creeks for the fish and beavers. Most streams in the intermountain west have a poor pool-to-riffle ratio and this is not beneficial to fish.
