I took a sabbatical in 2022 - went on vacation to PR for two weeks then came home and read a bunch of books, caught up on tv I’d missed, cleaned out my basement, and did all the life admin stuff I’d been putting off. It was glorious.

If I took a sabbatical I wouldn't go to Procurement Request.

That is where I am leaning:a little time off with family for a slightly extended trip and some time to just chill.

I'm now leaning very strongly toward taking an 8-week sabbatical next summer and basically doing this - a couple weeks of vacation combined with rest and relaxation
