A thought I had was to hit max critical eye and then squeeze in attack boost since crit eye boosts base attack but I was also thinking the inverse since high attack boost gives affinity

If you're playing MH World you can try getting affinity from Agitator since wallbanging the monsters will always make them enraged (so Agitator will mostly always be active) and then investing on max lvl Attack Boost + other crit skills to leave your affinity close to 100
