Man, that "Helluva Boss only has one joke and it's swearing" crowd REALLY got to someone at Spindlehouse didn't it? To be honest though, I'd also be a little passive aggressive myself if I saw the same reparative joke being made about something I worked on passionately. 😅

To me, it just comes off as prudish. The show is set in Hell. There will be lots of profanity.
