An #OSINT and hacking tip: Phrase threats hypothetically. Instead of “I could do *this*,” use “an adversary could.” For instance, saying “I can use your public address to pay someone to throw a brick at your house” at a stalking and OSINT seminar sounds more ominous than educational. Yes I saw this.
So I am really liking ScreenZen as an approach to blocking “that birdsite”. I occasionally need to check some things (CTI, OSINT) over there, and having a “Is this important?” query helps. Does anyone have other or better techniques for app blocking (besides quitting that platform)?

Saw someone state “Y’all didn’t read the man page and it shows”, and that stings so much but it should be an InfoSec t-shirt. Plus, I learned something new. A lot of wizards in the industry got good because one of the things they do is read the spellbooks, and I should do the same.
A Dom Toretto implies there is a Sub Toretto and I would really like to know what would be on that sandwich. It would probably be enough “for family” though.
Hey I made a quick welcome guide to BlueSky :) There's tons more, but I think these few steps will get you up and enjoying it quickly.
This was some good merch to pick up at the con (timely to the DEFCON reporting stories). Their other stuff is great too. Still didn’t catch the flag, but agree I met a lot of good people.
