For much-derided abstract art in particular the point was often the process. Mixing chemicals and new tools in ways never before thought of. AI Art could contribute to this in a Warholian way, but also in a way far too grand for AI-bros' tiny imaginations to grasp.
I tend to be on the less militant side of AI art but for literal painting and sculpting AI art completely misses the point. So much of what makes them great is lost even in seeing a photo, the actual placement of shapes and colors is secondary to the painstaking choice of tool and technique.
The cookie table is serious business. I recall a Texas family of in-laws being very slow and indecisive at the cookie table. Very bad form.
Also what small town has all of these things?
My housing policy is target NIMBYs with Scooby Doo monsters until they sell to an apartment developer.
It's also a pitch to the kids because you'll actually get an inheritance instead of either the parent spends it all on end-of-life care, or they spend it all to *access* end-of-life care by Medicaid (where you gotta be broke broke and no hiding it in a premature inheritance!)
I am gonna buy so many supplements.
Lowercase-c conservatism can be healthy, to just bias oneself towards the status quo and not want to push too far too fast. Capital-C Conservatism has always been about enshrining traditional hierarchies though - fine with radical change as long as it benefits the historical winners.
