So clever :) > an integer in the range (-2^64)..(2^64)-1 inclusive To me the cool thing is storing 64 bit unsigned integers, the extended range of negative integers is just icing on the cake. But my passion isn't working directly on distributed systems.
You can use an unsigned 64 bit int and something to indicate if it's a positive or negative integer though :)
I think that's a nice thing. Silly me.
