We had a good ten years where a bunch of nobodies like us could report on power centers and structural inequality and abuses of power and citizens from government, employers and their surrogates. The end of Twitter as that vehicle really was the end of that, which was obviously the point.
Absolutely destroyed on purpose. No doubt in my mind.
You are definitely not a nobody. 👍🏻
Twitter was clearly the wrong vehicle for it, as Blue Sky may be also. Capitalism and questioning power arent compatible What you say is absolutely true, and for this reason what do we do to fix it? Twitter with a non-profit behind it?

I fought malevolent power - sometime successfully - long before I ever engaged with Twitter.
It took years for Twitter to become what it was. There's balkanization now but I think it'll consolidate again, hopefully in a platform more resistant to being bought out by someone like Musk.
Ben-you are NOT a nobody! I appreciate your reporting. It often frightens me, but I appreciate it.
whats that quote again by that lennon guy of capitalists buying up the free press
