Tragedy brought you guys together!? I found out a friend of mine in my hometown died via a memorial post on Instagram from the bar where she ran trivia nights. Not a single person actually bothered to mention to me directly that she'd died. I feel like *I'm* dead to that community.

I went to a 50th bday party last week that was exactly this. Some had moved away, severed ties, or gotten lazy with communications. Awkward af until someone brought up something that happened in 1997 and then everyone had plenty to talk about. 🤣
