if there was a separate 2D platformer game that looked like Forest Temple in terms of the assets and stuff then people would say it has good graphics thats kinda how I judge these things

i get why people call it basic because obviously it is compared to 2.2 levels. I feel like these people just equate "more" with "better" cuz I personally like the basic aesthetic more. Its timeless
