i planned a straight shot out and back but forgot to remove the hardest climb i know of here. glad i did it anyway

a strava map of today’s ride from cuenca to azogues. it shows that it was 72.9km long with 867 m of climbing and took just over three hours
the town of azogues can be seen in the distance, nestled in the andes mountains
a red road bike leans against a statue of a guy who must be important to the church in cojitambo. the church is behind, as are some huge cliffs
me smiling in my red kit and sunglasses, and black helmet. there’s a few houses and mountains behind me
