I still can't help but feel bad for this "twisted puppy". Crappy home life, shitty father ... Mid-1970s "we" did deep drilling into "latch key kids" and ayup, those experiences "optimize for psychopathy".

I reserve my sympathy/empathy for the many thousands of lives he has ruined, including small businesses he stiffed, people he defrauded, immigrant families he separated, and people who died of COVID but could/should have been protected.
