I know Europeans are freaks who hate ice but if you go to McDonald's over there, they put ice in your drink, right? The idea of fast food with no ice in the drink feels so wrong to me

It’s been many many years since I had McDonalds in Europe but I’m pretty sure there was ice in the drinks. There definitely is in Taiwan. Here at tea/drink shops you have to choose how much ice you want in your drink.

A&W here in canada doesn't put ice in their drinks because it "dilutes" the flavour and thats not so bad if u eat in and get the huge frosty glass mug they give u but if its to go its just horrible lukewarm pop in a paper cup and its baaaaaaad
