Hi polisky, would you mind sharing a sentence or two about how you think about the teaching parts of your faculty role? Context: I'm giving a talk to new PS PhD students on the role of teaching in a faculty career. I wanted to find something in JPSE or PS on the topic, but no luck so far. TIA!

Teaching is the core of my role. Frankly most of the pol sci jobs, or academic jobs are teaching oriented. Learning to teach, and run a classroom are skills that are rarely covered in grad programs but are crucial for landing a job.
