Tulsa, OK, April 12, 1975: Bob Seger and Thin Lizzy were opening for Bachman Turner Overdrive. BTO phoned it in, but the other 2 weren't big time yet, but they really kicked major ass. I just turned 17, got autographs from all of em. I still love discovering new artists. It's like magic.

In the late 70s, I saw all kinds of punk and new wave bands came thru there too: Ramones, Sex Pistols, Patti Smith, The Police, U2, Elvis Costello, Mink DeVille, The Cramps, Iggy, Talking Heads, Dead Kennedys, REM y mas. All of em stopped in while rolling coast to coast. Tickets were like ~$10.
