Sorry Viv, I did respond earlier but message was lost. Common Darters I reckon. Norfolk Hawker has Green eyes (aka Green-eyed Hawker) this insect has brown eyes with green fronds area.

Nearest I got to Broadchurch was when doing some some scrub management with the NT I met a pleasant young lady who had taken herself for a coastal walk between filming...Jodie Whittaker.

The movement started at dawn (the sun was still behind the coastal ridge) and stopped fairly abruptly around 8.00am. 1,000s went thru but separating and counting the pockets of Swallows and House Martins was nigh on impossible...

A Merlin was the only real highlight here this morning... distant but obliging. Otherwise, Whinchat, Spot Fly and 2 Wheatears was as good as it got.
