There are so many UK actors who I feel I've known forever because they've always been in everything, but I only get to know their names when they die.

I have many favourite actors who I can't name. Who turn up everywhere in supporting roles. Sad they're not more recognised, what would films/dramas be without them?

Did you learn that, originally, they were very dense and served as the first course? To fill you up so that you ate less meat, the expensive part of the meal. My mum made the dense type, which we'd split open and fill with jam. Served with custard for pudding.
