As long as nobody/nothing is being hurt, I think all kinks are fair game. ALL OF THEM. And people who don't like it need to get over it. Not that I expect the fandom to act that way. Furry has been a drama-prone hellhole for 2 decades (for me) and that ain't ever gonna change. Fuck the haters.
*sigh* I suppose I am so honest about what I'm into and not into cause I'm anonymous (realistically my family knows WORSE things about me...) but I'm seriously considering a "clean" (ish) furry identity especially for VR, just so I can interact with most people and not be the fandom villain again.
Also, circling a bit back to Kero. I'm a digital ghost. There are no social media accounts under my real identity. There are no pictures of my face online. There are no connections to my real identity. Kero has a name and face. People know where he lives. Makes it harder to be fully honest, no?
Also I know that not everyone has the emotional capacity to do what I do. And I do have a bit of a neuroscience background. Guess I really wanted to fix myself, cause yeah. Opening up in person about some of my stuff is just impossible. Willing to bet many people go into that field for that reason.
My personal rule is, if you treat me well, I treat you well. If you/them did bad things and wanna talk about it, I'm open to talk. I never cut ties with people because that usually pushes them closer to the edge of the cliff. If I may ask, what did they do? Don't need to name names.
I've been in this fandom for 20 years. I can tell you for a fact that no one leaves, they just change identities. This circle does not break. Try seeing things from a new perspective. If you help others, it will make you feel good when you see the fruits of your labor. Trust me, it's rewarding.
