The "progressive" Australian government has successfully argued in court that they shouldn't need to consider the climate impact of new fossil fuel projects on our most precious species and places when approving them. They are absolutely interchangeable on this with the dipshits they replaced.

With all of us coming here to Bluesky, we are all essentially hitting a big reset button. Twitter promoted a lot of toxic unhealthy traits in the pursuit for clout thanks to its awful algorithm. Here, those toxic fucks don't have an algorithm to push their bullshit. This is a huge chance for us.

Seems to me that this current govt really does want to be a one termed, if what is published by the ABC is true. Mind you, I'm not too sure it is, given their track record. Sounds as though it has come straight from the Murdoch media?

the vandalism that saw the Sycamore Gap Tree felled is very saddening but, you know, every day here in Tasmania we see forests & forest giants felled at great cost to us. Loss of habitat & biodiversity, loss of huge carbon banks & loss of $$ poured in to subsidise the madness
