I know what you mean, although I suppose there’s a little bit of a distinction between that sort of broken chord pattern type riff like IFF and the more chunky single-notes pattern like Day Tripper or Satisfaction.

I don’t think any other #music#podcast has dared to reveal the shocking story of the WALKER BROTHERS EGG EPIPHANY. Listen to this week’s episode to find out more about the Walker Bros. and more besides!

WALKER FOOD
Could you tell me what kind of food The Walker Brothers like, please? Judith Grey, Stockport.
I have just phoned Gary Walker. Judith, and he tells me all the boys love lobster. They also like chicken curry. When they first came to England Gary ate nothing but eggs. Then, one day, Scott turned round to him and said: "Say, do you know what you are eating?" "Sure man." said Gary. "It's an egg."
"It's an embryo!" said Scott, with alarming emphasis.
From that day to this, Gary has not touched another egg. Not surprising really, is it?
