Is Ketamine more "take drug, cure symptoms" like a medicine or more "I take a substance and find out more about myself/ gain new perspective" sort-of-deal?

It does have a definite antidepressant effect, but medium to longer term benefits may or not be at least partly the "new perspective" thing - they're not actually totally sure yet.
