Finished this this morning--Excellent of account of AfroLatinidades and the importance of life writing to Latinx studies. Especially liked the chapters on Piri Thomas and Queer AfroLatinidades (focusing on Jaquira Díaz and Ariana Brown). Have already recommended it to students
